AI legal assistant for Kazakhstan law (saul.kz). It reads primary sources, verifies every citation against the text it cites, and drafts memoranda for practicing lawyers. Used daily by law firms and in-house legal teams in Kazakhstan.
What I did
Designed and built the agent core: an LLM agent with retrieval tools over a versioned corpus of Kazakhstan law — 6,000+ codes, laws, official commentaries and analytics.
Built the court-practice pipeline: ingested and indexed 5M+ court decisions; 180K+ appellate and Supreme Court acts are semantically searchable with a shared reranker.
Wrote the citation-verification gate: the agent may only cite passages it actually opened during the current turn, so answers ship with checkable references.
Operate the production stack end to end: deploys, incident response, latency and cost engineering.
